Professional Synopsis

 

Operations Management

·               Managed daily operations such as power plant engineering/installation, alarm conditions, project scheduling, plant design/configuration, regulatory/legal compliance, and adherence to safety and OSHA requirements. Functioned as a liaison between company engineers and lab vendors, contractors, and building owners.

·               Provided the maintenance and management of data center test equipment supporting a wireless test network infrastructure for power and broadband issues and ensured vendor installation compliance with local and FCC requirements.

·               Organized and chaired meetings that ensured the effective management and integration of multiple vendor installation and project schedules within lab environments.

·               Managed broadband transport equipment, computer networks, and TCP/IP as well as proof of concept for SS7-IP (ATM) pre-deployment into the production wireless network.

 

 

Project Management

·               Orchestrated the design and development of a laboratory infrastructure and strategy focused on supporting test/prototype equipment as well as service development. Duties included the management of power plant and power generation infrastructure expansions.

·               Successfully established a lab infrastructure designed to accommodate VZW lab network design objectives.

·               Served an instrumental role in evaluations and special projects focused on network integration areas.

·               Performed the implementation and maintenance of wireless radio test architecture as well as introduced a strategic plan for its enhancement, facilitating support to a technology department and client users.

 

 

 

Engineering

·               Ensured compliance with FCC regulations, National Electrical Code, and local building and safety codes.

·               Established the network transport architecture for various integrated labs and supported test efforts within these locations, including requirements assessment in the areas of power, electrical, grounding, shielded facilities, seismic, interconnection, facility grooming, and physical interface configurations.

·               Forecasting, procurement and supply chain management of major capital telecom equipment

·               Translating overall network designs into site-specific equipment requirements

·               Generation of site installation and commissioning instructions including equipment Bill of Materials

·               Delivered expertise to cross-functional project teams in the areas of test architecture design, implementation, and evolution.

·               Provided third-tier support for the Verizon SS7 production signaling network and R&D for SS7 network related hardware/software.  Duties included lab planning, installations, systems integration, and development.

·               Administered operations within testing environments, including equipment selection, protocol analyzers, calibration, and the troubleshooting of wireless test equipment (Inet, MGTS, and GSI).
